How to Play Chess

Click a piece to select it, then click the destination square to move. This is a two-player game on the same device — White moves first, then Black. Each piece type moves differently: pawns move forward, rooks move in straight lines, bishops move diagonally, knights move in an L-shape, the queen combines rook and bishop movement, and the king moves one square in any direction.
